Matahiwi Estate has now been producing wines since the 2004 vintage. We are now exporting to the UK, Australia, Singapore, The Netherlands and The United States. Our wines are also available extensively throughout New Zealand, in restaurants and wine outlets (through our New Zealand distributor, Red + White Cellar).

A new addition to our range, has been the reserve-style barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc from the 2006 vintage. This was released at the inaugural Wairarapa Wines Harvest festival in March 2007, and proved very popular, with us running out of this wine half way through the day.

We have also recently released our 2005 Merlot, 2006 Pinot Noir and our 2007 Unoaked Chardonnay. Tasting notes for these wines appear on the Our Wines page. Our 2007 Sauvignon Blanc will be released later in the year.
